Checking Accounts
For your convenience, we offer a checking account that
provides members with the ability to write an unlimited number
of checks from this account.
Members may request a MasterCard Debit/ATM Card to be used for purchases and obtain cash back through this account.
Starter checks are available when opening an account.
You may use your MasterCard Debit Card to make purchases or
obtain cash back at any merchant or ATM where the MAC, Star or
Plus logo is displayed. There is a monthly charge of $2.00
to maintain a MasterCard Debit Card.
Our debit cards can no longer be used Internationally due
to the increase in Fraud. Debit cards may only be used in
the United States. Please make arrangements for other
finances if going out of the country on vacation.
To report a lost or stolen debit card please contact Star at 1-800-523-4175 immediately to stop any fraudulent charges.
Both Direct Deposit and ACH transactions are also available with this account.
Members may open a checking account at any time after opening a savings account. There is no minimum balance requirement to open a checking account. There is no minimum balance requirement and no service charges to maintain this type of account.

The following fees may apply to your share draft account.
As of September 30th, 2022 monthly/quarterly statements will now be charged $1.00 per month due to postage and handling. Anyone over 65 will be exempt. Please contact the credit union if you want to be on E-statements to avoid fee.
